Ipoh railway station

In Perak, some of building have historic and age such as Ipoh railway station where is constructed by Arthur Bension Hubback. That place opened in 1917 which is close to 100 years of history.
In 2007, the Ipoh station was reopened after seven years of renovation as part of the railway electrification and double traking between Rawang and Ipoh.  Its also known as the 'Taj Mahl' of Ipoh, it is tan impressive landmark combining the Gothic and Moorish architecture plus modern embellishments.

This is how the old Ipoh Railway Station look like.

The view is too pretty that will make me regret if i dont take any photos!

The railway station is well known for its night view. There is also a fountain located in front of the railway station. At night, in front of the railway station, the place is usually crowded by local communities and tourists. There will be some people singing with guitar if you lucky enough to meet them. Unfortunately, we are unlucky to meet them.

Besides that, tourists enjoy visiting the place because the railway station is surrounded by beautiful historical architectures.

We can understand more the history of Ipoh Railway station through paying a visit to there and the buildings do impressed all of us! In addition, there are a lot of night activities that you must do in Ipoh Railway station! For example, experience night skating and motorized scooter. The rental will be as low as Rm10!

We had heard about that a student who wish to get a good result in his examination. So,he came to this temple and pray sincerely before he exam. At the end, he had obtained a good result in his examination.

You never try, you never know !

Before we started to pray, we need to follow the instruction of the temple assistant. She told us what we should tell the God and what we should do later.

Now, is the time to walk on the bridge. This bridge can brings us good luck.
The temple assistant told us the rules before we walk on the bridge.
When we walk on the bridge,
we SHOULD NOT TALK
we SHOULD LOOK on the LEFT.
We SHOULD NOT look on the RIGHT.
It is because if you are in bad luck, you will see the horrible things that will brings you bad luck.

After that, we walked to the small bridge which is in front of the small waterfall.

We will listed this place as my top 10 places that we should go in Perak. It is Gua Tempurung, Gopeng, Perak. Me and my bunch of friends had heard of this cave for quite some time before but we didn’t really visited it until today.

Me and my group of friends just used around 15 minutes to reach the destination.
It is because it very near from our campus to Gua Tempurung.

When we reached the Gua Tempurung, we went to the information counter to ask for the tour packages and we decided travel to tour 2 (Top Of The World) packages which cost RM 12.00 per person. There are other tour packages available too. For example
Tour 1 is Golden Flow-stone,
tour 3 is Top of the world& River Adventure and
tour 4 is Grand Tour
The level of difficulty is increasing from Tour 1 to Tour 4 which means you need to spend more time and effort. This Tour 2 package we need to use around 1 hour and 45 minutes to walk from the entrance to Top of the World at platform 5 and return .

Photo 3.3: The price for Tour 1 - 4

Before we go in, there is a guide tell us about the history of  the Gua Tempurung. After and we know that Gua Tempurung (Tempurung Cave) has existed since early 8000 B.C. and it is
one of the larger cave systems found in the scenic limestone hills of Perak.
In fact, it is the largest natural limestone structure in Peninsular Malaysia.

Photo 3.4: The introduction speech by the staff

Photo 3.5: Selfie before go in!

When we go in we feel like we are living in a jungle. It is because everyone inside the cave will lose phone signal and then we start our journey.

Photo 3.6: The sunlight on the rock

After walking for few minutes you will reach platform 1. You will started to see various stalactites and stalagmites and it takes many many thousand years just for these to grow an inch
.

Photo 3.6 & 3.7:  The rock on the cave

After that we walk to platform 2 and we found this area is very cool. It call echo area which you can shout to release your stress.

Photo 3.8: More steps to platform 3,4 and 5

Photo 3.9 & 3.10: The view in this cave is fascinating and we took some photo on the way

After some time we reach Platform 4. We found this special area, because you can feel the cold wind .

At last we did it !!!
To the last platform for our journey, which is Platform 5.  We spend around 1 hours 30 minutes to reach the Top of the World. This is end of our Tour 2 package, if we go further we need to buy Tour 3 or 4 packages. It is more challenging in Tour 3 and 4 because we will get wet in that tour.

We feel very happy and exhausted in this trip. This trip has widen our view. I hope that we can come back again next time to challenge the Tour 3 or 4. Feel free to commend and ask anything you want to know about this trip!
